ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN is the largest annual gathering of e-learning professionals in Europe. The three day conference has become the meeting point for the international e-learning community of practice. In 2002 more than 1400 participants from 63 different countries joined the event in the Intercontinental Hotel Berlin.
The conference's rich agenda included more than 200 people including key-note speakers, presenters, panelists, chair-people and workshop leaders from 30 different countries.
Leopold Reif has been a member of the Advisory Committee since the launch of the conference in 1995.
Sebastian Hoffmann and Leopold Reif talked about “ Open Source based Applications for Knowledge Networks in Africa and Asia” in a session on effective development strategies. The chairman of this session was Gunnar Brueckner from coachingplatform Inc., Canada.
