How you will learn |
The CPeO offers much more than training programmes - it is action learning and intense cooperation over distance while staying at your workplace. You will cooperate with experts working in the field with a long and successful track record. They will provide for project support along the line of your job responsibility and will facilitate that you advance in your carreer. You will get lots of opportunities to discuss topics of practical relevance. |
What this course requires from you |
If you are new to self-directed learning, you may find this style of learning innovative and a bit frightening. But no one will nag you or criticize you for not participating. The whole programme requires your active and timely participation since you learn by participating actively and by working on your project together with your peers. You alone are responsible for your own learning. That means you must have the drive and discipline to learn throughout the coaching programme within a rather demanding schedule. |
Time required |
The coaching programme has a modular structure and can be tailored to your organisationīs needs. The complete programme looks like this: |
Technical requirements |
The technical prerequisites have been adapted to high and very low bandwidth conditions. You can participate e.g. from Uganda with a 2 Kilobit connection or from Berlin with a 4 Megabit DSL connection from your home office or workplace. The coaches worked under the variety of connectivity settings and can offer the same high quality services independent of your bandwidth. |

|
To get most out of this course |
Do all the proposed activities since you become assessed according to the quality of the deliverables. The activities let you apply what you have learned immediately. Review the readings after you complete the activities. The activities will make clear how you can apply the readings to your project. Participate in the discussion groups. Ask questions, debate issues, and especially help your peers. |
Authors and facilitators |
The coaching programme was developed and is facilitated by a network of international consultants, managed by the Hoffmann&Reif partner network. Please check the list of contributors. |
Credits |
The CPeO can be taken over by a customer and become embedded in their curriculum. By default two types of certificates from the project consortium and participating universities are issued upon successful completion. If more than 80% of the score has been achieved a Business Certificate is issued with the permission to take over the CPeO. If continuous participation and partly successful deliverables have been achieved a Certificate of Participation is issued. |
Before you start |
There is a pre-assessment center at your place before the coaching programme starts. There are some pre-class readings and activities. |
Course phases |
Phase 1: Face-to-face session at partner site |
Schedule of material delivery |
